This was a 1 night stay over about was local for my needs, a simple pub room, unfortunately the TV sound didn’t work and as I arrived quite late I didnt want to bother the owner. Had a good nights sleep.

Loved the hotle and bar. An amazing carving outside of a dragon emerging from a tree..local wye valley beers were great..no food being seeved but a good fish and chip shop nesrby which you could bring back to yhe bar area

An imposing building on arrival, and a friendly check in on Friday. Room 2 was lovely (the desk was a particular favourite, if only there was a price tag on it). We’d happily stay there again. We’ve stayed at different venues while visiting my father who is receiving palliative care at home. We’d happily come back and stay

The staff at this Hotel are incredibly nice and helpful. I was traveling with two friends on our annual bike tour. The manager was extremely accommodating about storing our bikes someplace secure and dry, which was sincerely appreciated. A great value for the money.
