Well I didn't actually get to stay in my booked hotel, which was a shame (as I don't pick my hotels randomly). I arrived in Florence around 8.30pm, and after walking to the Eco hotel with my suitcase in the heat, I was forced to re-read the email stating that after 7.30pm, check-in was a 5 mins walk to the sister hotel Market Urban. I wouldn't have booked the Eco, if I had known this in advance. After a few different days of hotels, planes and trains, it wasn't the best situation to be in a new city, however the young kind asian gentleman at Market Urban reception offered a coffee, and great hospitality, therefore I ended up staying at Market Urban. I found the new hotel very pleasant and all the staff seemed to really care about the guests.

What a lovely place to stay. We had two rooms, both very large and spotlessly clean. The extra amenities had been thought about (water, fluffy towels, wash and hair conditioner, vanity kit, in room safe and hairdryer) and the ‘extras’ were clear (snacks and more water in the mini fridge). Our host Anna was wonderful, providing us with a varied and delicious continental breakfast daily and making suggestions for our day. It was wonderful that she was genuinely interested in us having a great stay both at the B&B and in Florence.

This hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a practical, quiet and comfortable place with easy access to transport and all the activities and tours you may want to do in Florence. It's a quite place with rooms so big and functional on what you need that may you relax on a busy schedule at anytime you want to relax. Anna especially is a great and magnificent helper and also the rest of staff. The only minus if the WiFi is not with good speed but nevertheless I would come back. Don't be disappointed if you see a lot of tourist arriving at the premises making so much noise as the place is really quite and pleasant once you are inside.
