Hotel location itself is nice. There was no refrigerator in the room, and the safe did not work. There is also no ice machines on the room floors. I was told to go to the bar where they would also have ice buckets. After waiting ~30 min for a bartender to show up i was informed he was too busy and to ask the front desk. Went to the front desk where he too was busy and said he could not help. The Restaurant was closed, but a nice lady did help me there even though she was obviously on break. Staffing at the hotel is definitely lacking.

My husband & I stayed here for a little weekend getaway and we absolutely LOVED The Laura! It’s conveniently located (it’s right by Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar— which we loved), all staff were very nice, it is immaculately kept, the hotel itself is beautiful, our room was huge + pretty & modern. Overall it was a wonderful & very enjoyable stay! Highly recommend😊 Only cons: One morning we decided to eat breakfast at the restaurant inside of the hotel— Hull & Oak. We ordered very basic biscuits & gravy w/ a side of roasted potatoes. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive to our table. The food was just okay. Definitely don’t go if you’re starving, if you want to check it out for yourself. And the other con is we did not have a fridge in our room.. huge bummer for us. We like to keep our drinks cold, leftovers in there, etc. So that was a let down. Anyways, thanks for a great place for us to stay while visiting!
