Surprised by this road side gem

What a find. Super clean, the BEST towels ever and the nicest staff! This is rare in a small town, road side motel. Theyre usually rundown and a little sketchy. Stopped here on our way to crab in Grand Isle and were very pleased. Close to great places to eat too!

At first i had an issue with checking in. I didn't arrive in time before they left. I had to wait until the next day as i slept outside of the building waiting for someone to arrive. but when i got my room key and inspected the room, i was content. It was nice and clean inside. The bed was comfortable and there was brand new furniture in the room.

Loved the people at the Gators Inn😍

Our stay at the Gators Inn could not have been better! This great little mom and pop motel is beautifully newly updated and super clean. The hospitality was exceptional! We had a problem with our TV and three different people worked on it until it was right and ready for us to watch. There’s a beautiful little bar on site that has a pool table and a few casino machines. Pot of coffee brewing in the office each morning got the day started right. Perfect choice for our visit to the LaRose French food festival less than a mile away!

We liked the fresh and clean room with updated decor, king bed, and a tap-to-open-door key card that works even in the envelope. However the room lacked expected amenities like a hair dryer, extra pillows, no blanket (just a comforter), no liquid soap in the shower dispenser, and coffee maker. The office had a half pot of coffee on the burner that tasted burnt. If these aren’t important to you, you will be with the room. We stayed in #107.

Best little hidden gem

If your looking for a place that’s gna serve u room service then keep driving north! If you’re looking for an extremely clean and very quiet stay then this is your place! Nit only was this place extremely clean the customer service is above and beyond! These ppl treat ya like u family coming in from out of town or old friends! I’m not even exaggerating that at all! “Mama D” was the absolute best! We laughed joked played around and she made us feel like we was the only ppl there period! Very accommodating and had us trying to figure out if we could possibly squeeze a couple more days in before heading home. Sadly we couldn’t but we will be returning and soon! Most definitely our new home away from home when we have to travel to the area! Thanks for such an amazing experience!
