Sehr nettes Guest House - kein Hotel. In einer ruhigen Gegend mit Parkplätzen direkt in Innenhof. Die Zimmer/ Appartements sind groß und ausreichend für 3 Personen (bei 4 personen ist das Doppelstockbett vielleicht etwas klein. Küchennische ist vollausgetstattet. Bad zweckdienlich, könnte aber mal wieder renoviert werden; nicht schlimm allerdings. Wifi hat nach anfänglichen Problemen emebefalls tadellos funktioniert. Es gibt einen Tischkicker, Billard, Pool; alles sehr nett und herzlich ausgestattet. Besonders der freundliche Check In hat uns beeindruckt. Der Sohn des Besitzers und der Besitzer selber sind top und sehr vertrauensvoll. Wir würden wieder kommen! PS: Vorsicht: bei Anreise nach 17 Uhr mit dem Hotel Rücksprache halten. Ist eben ein probates Guest House!

Haben bedauerlicherweise nicht das Zimmer im Gästehaus York bekommen. wir waren in einem anderen Haus untergebracht. Die Freundlichkeit des Vermieters und seiner Angestellten haben dies aufgehoben. Pool und ebenerdigens Zimmer wären jedoch für uns ganz günstig gewesen.

Family 2 day stay

Well run facility. We stayed as a 2+2 family in the room with a double bedroom and bunk-bed in the lounge-kitchen-diner area. It was good to have this extra space and flexibility. Games room was a hit with the kids. Local restaurants/cafes are fine. Eastgate Mall is 1 mile away and safely walkable in daytime. Manager offers transfers in his car. Definitely recommend. (We went to SCI-BONO on one day which is the best science museum we've ever been to and great value.)

The accommodation and the helpfulness of the staff made up for the fact that it is a little outside of the main areas. The staff provided easy helpful service to transport us to where we wanted to go, and some suggestions

Nice, homely and convenient.

Enjoyed my brief stay. Friendly welcome and very friendly host. Nice comfy bed. The sherry was superb! Midway between CBD and airport. Eastgate Mall 5 minutes drive away. Ideal location.

Decent stay, lovely grounds

The rooms are very old and could use a little deep cleaning. Bending was clean, everything was nice. The garden is lovely, if perhaps small. Parking is inconvenient if busy. Breakfast is a tad pricy
