Hanky Suite was a nice, clean apartment im Trastevere. It was a tad confusing to find at first and once you go into the apartment complex you will need to go up 2 floors to suite 13. Our host, Maria was exceptional. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We did have some issues with the air conditioning but I will say both Maria and Fredrrco went above and beyond to try to rectify. Trastevere is about a 15 minute walk to Rome and public transport such as buses and trams are easily accessible. There were many restaurants to choose from in close proximity.

Great location! Everything was clean. Staff was very nice and responsive. The AC was strong enough to handle the heatwave. There seemed to have only been a few rooms in this suite, so it felt private. Make sure to respond to any message they send you beforehand because they need to know your arrival time in order to properly check you in. We will stay here again next time in Rome!

Perfect stay with exceptional personal service We had an amazing stay at the Hanky Suite, mainly thanks to Maria! From the very beginning, she took great care of us and was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. A special highlight was the lovely surprise she prepared for us on New Year’s Eve – such a thoughtful gesture! Maria always had plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations and was a huge help in planning our stay. Her kindness and dedication made our vacation even more special. Absolutely recommendable! We’d love to come back!

Broken air conditioning

We're upset that the air conditioning didn't work. It made for a pretty uncomfortable night and knowing it was supposed to be hot in Rome air conditioning was one of the most important features for us when we booked this room. Is there anything that can be done about this? There's no one at the front desk and we didn't feel comfortable calling our contact at the hotel at 2 in the morning. The space was nice and the host was nice when we met him at check in.

Vår första gång i Rom vilket trevligt område Trastevere är. mycket restauranger nära till det mesta. Bra kollektivtrafik. Rummet rent fräscht städade varje dag nya handdukar. Fanns kaffe maskin i allrummet. Vattenkokare på rummet. Utanför porten låg flera restauranger. Vi åt frukost på en. Även glasskiosk en bonus. Allt fungerade bra med senare incheckning som vi behövde. Vi skulle lätt på här igen.

Happy way to end my big trip!

I liked staying here for the comfy bed, the price, and the location. The hotel itself is a ghost hotel with staff only from about 11 am to 2 pm in a residential building outside of the scenic part of Trastevere. I still liked that it had restaurants and shops at street level and was about a five-minute walk from Trastevere proper and about 25 minutes from iconic Roman landmarks in Piazza Navona. I took a city bus to get from Termini station to the bus stop about five minutes walk away. I lived it!

The area of Travestare is a beautiful area to stay in when in Rome. Federico was an incredibly responsive host. The hotel is surrounded with wonderful dining spots and everything is walkable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Rome!
