Ernesto was the perfect host, taking care of every detail. We really appreciated his restaurant recommendations. Location is excellent for the Vatican Museum. Taxis were availability at the top of the stairs next to building. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Rome.

We had a very warm welcome from Ernesto at My Bed Vatican Museum. He gave us lots of helpful information, and was always just a WhatsApp message away for any assistance or advice. The air conditioning was so good to have, and one of the nicest features was the espresso machine available at any time in the Breakfast room. Also the lift, after some earlier accommodations had lots of stairs to climb. Could do with new pillows and softer towels, as well as a room safe, but everything else in the compact room was great, and we had plenty of space, including a desk and a wardrobe. We also liked being able to open the windows. The location was great, with a short walk to Vatican Museum and St Peter's Basilica, and easy walk to the Metro. Thank you to Ernesto and Paola for a wonderful time in Roma!

The Highlight of my Trip

Coming from the bustling capital of the U.S., Washington, D.C.🇺🇸, taking a vacation in Italy really makes you forget about work, the news, and the usual grind of American life. I spent 10 days hopping between 2 hotels and 2 B&Bs, and honestly, it felt like a dream come true. I got to soak in the beauty of Italy’s amazing towns and cities, like Pienza, Montalcino, the coastal village of Monterosso Al Mare in Cinque Terre, Lake Como, Venice, Rome, Positano, the Amalfi Coast, and Ravello. The last leg of my trip was in Rome, and it was definitely the highlight. My beautiful relaxing clean B&B was in the perfect spot, just steps away from the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica. Also, a short train ride to Naples to meet my tour group sightseeing Positano, Amalfi Coast and Ravello. Ernesto and Paola, the hosts, were such a breath of fresh air. They were incredibly sweet, kind, and really down-to-earth throughout the whole thing. Plus, they had tons of knowledge about the best authentic restaurants, must-see places, and tours in Rome. I can’t thank them enough for making my family and me feel so welcome! I love this B&B.

Highly recommended for a Vatican visit

We stayed here to ensure early entry to the Vatican Museum for a tour. We were very impressed by the location, which is genuinely perfect for the Vatican Museum, but also by the cleanliness, accessibility, and comfort of the room. The location was wonderful. Just as described. And the Metro was only a short walk. The room was big and bathroom (for European standards) and very clean. The hosts were very helpful. One thing to note is that they do not live on sight but are very responsive using WhatsApp. Was very comfortable and safe and although it was close to a high trafficked area it was very quite at night. Would defiantly stay here again.

Location … Location … Location!

This small guesthouse is perfectly located to explore The Vatican and other local sites: the Vatican Museum is literally outside your bedroom window and St Peter's Basilica is a 10 minute walk away. Accommodation is a group of three private bedrooms each with ensuite toilets and showers: it is sparkling clean and the bed was most comfortable. Ernesto and Paola are the perfect hosts: they serve a light breakfast of coffee and fresh pastry in their shared kitchen and are available to answer your every need. Thanks to these gracious hosts for a perfect first visit to Rome!

My Bed Vatican Museum was an awesome place to stay whilst in Rome. We did 2 x 2night stays before and after a cruise. The location was convenient to everything and walking distance to all the major sight seeing attractions. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable with views of the Vatican City directly across the road. The most impressive thing about this accommodation was the awesome hosts - Ernesto & Paola, they are amazing. On hand to provide assistance with getting around Rome and providing a delicious breakfast every morning, fresh croissants, great coffee and much more. We loved our stay with Ernesto & Paola. Awesome place to stay when in Rome.

This is absolutely the place to stay in Rome. Ernesto and Paola made us very welcome and are fabulous hosts. The property is right across from the entrance to the Vatican and just a short metro ride to all of Romes attractions. Ernesto made sure we knew where everything was located and gave us a map too with recommendations of where to go and where to eat. All were excellent and they made us feel like we have a second home with them in Rome. Do not overlook this place, it is personable and everything we could have expected and more!!

Ernesto and Paola are just lovely. Such amazing hosts and even with our limited Italian and Ernesto’s English we felt very welcome and they couldn’t do enough to help us. Ernesto helped us get tickets for the bus and Vatican and walked us there so we could find the tourist offices. He was very kind. We had fresh croissants for breakfast and toast/yogurt and crackers, fresh coffee and juice. The room was comfortable and had air conditioning which was a relief as it was 37 outside. Nice and clean and beds made up each day and room cleaned. We would highly recommend this b and b and it’s right beside Vatican City. Would definitely visit again

We enjoyed our time at My Bed Vatican Museum where we stayed for 5 days. The hotel is located in close proximity to the Vatican, so that alone was a plus. The room was spacious and well maintained. A light breakfast was complimentary, so that helped us get our day started. The owners, Ernesto and Paola were so friendly and welcoming to us. Their hospitality is exceptional! Ernesto gave us great tips on where to go and how to get there and Paola was a delight to talk to! I would definitely stay at "My Bed Vatican" again. Ernesto and Paula are great hostes, they treat you like family and always make sure you have what you need. They send you a text everynight just to see if everything is ok.Now this property is very well located. Is prime spot if you want to stay close to vatican, is literally across the street. There is a metro station that you can take to other sites like, Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Trastevere and many more. There is also many good restaurants nearby to have lunch or dinner, there is also a produce market close by where you can by fresh fruit, vegetables or even a bottle of wine for cheap. This is an excellent spot I highly recomend it.
