Very nice rooms, comfortable bed...the only drawback was a very noisy air unit. While very thankful for air conditioning, the wall unit was very loud & would "clank" when it turned off & also when turning on. It unfortunately woke us up with every on & off. Outside of that, however - very good!

It was quick and convenient to check in to the hotel. It was late at night, but it was fast, and we could get into the hotel room to rest quickly, which was nice. Everything was clean and pretty comfy. It seemed pretty quiet at the hotel, which was nice! Not too far away from Winona, which has lots to explore! Overall was a perfect place for our stay and weekend away! :)

Felt like a very comfy and safe place. Continental isn't outstanding but it's nice that the coffee is available at any time. Front desk lady found my keys and had them for me when I came over, thank goodness!

Nice hotel - the booking page on Expedia had a photo of Winona State University as the first photo - turns out the hotel is in Arcadia, 30 minutes away (it is a beautiful drive!). I also thought it would have a little more personality, but it was like a mid hotel chain hotel. The pillows were lumpy. The lights from the parking lot are super bright, and the blackout curtains didn't block all the light. Nice shower, though!

This hotel was so nice just 4 or 5 years ago. It may have fallen during COVID like so many. However the room smelled musty. The floor by the window was soaking wet. The air conditioner is loud and only kind of works, plus the front outside of the air conditioner completely fell off when I accidentally bumped it trying to avoid the water on the floor. The desk was sticky. Really sticky. Like I put my cosmetic bag down and it completely stuck to the desk as did my toiletries bag. The beds are comfortable and it seems to be insect free. But for $150/night it is ridiculous. I won’t come back.

1 night stay. Room was well cleaned. Just an average mid-range hotel. Late night the room above us was very noisy, no night front desk service to help us (other than a number to call). We left at 2:00 in the morning to drive 3 hours home and get some sleep.

This is a cute little place to stay and became our base camp for a hiking weekend in the area. There were many things to be impressed by. Starting with the immediate hot and or cold water from the shower or tap. There was no wait time and that was fantastic! The cold water was ice cold and the taste was fantastic! Another aspect of the room that I really liked was the bed and pillows. The bed was very comfortable and there were a selection of pillows that made sleep possible. One thing I will say about room 201 is that it needs a king size bed! Having a jetted tub and then to have to go into a queen size bed situation just wasn’t luxurious. The room could definitely handle a king. A couple of things I did not appreciate was the inch size gap below the door. I don’t know if that was to aid in the ventilation from the tub, but there needs to be something else designed if this is the case. Any type of noise from our room most definitely reached all our friends and neighbors in the hall and down the stairs. I could’ve easily slid a Culver’s butter burger under that door and an order of fries with no problem! The curtains had to be held together with one of the clip hangers to keep the light out. I don’t know what I was worried about, though… The glow from the microwave and numerous other items throughout the room made me super happy I had remembered to bring my sleep mask! Over all, this was a very nice place!
