Great hotel in a wonderful location

Just to put the review in perspective we had room 53, which was on the second floor and the outlook was over the interior across some roofs. The room was a great size, lots of space for luggage and moving around etc, great sized bathroom. We spent 2 nights out of our 8 night Italian trip here at Hotel Victoria and out of the 4 hotels we stayed at this one was the best! The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the train station and only a matter of yards from the indoor and leather markets.....all the major attractions are within easy walk. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, plenty of choice and all fresh. The room was the best we experienced and the restaurant a few doors up from the hotel called Matto Matto is well worth a visit, wonderful food and service at very reasonable prices! The staff were all lovely and the hotel was clean with a wonderful array of smells as you walked around it.

Very good!

Very Good price-service relationship for short trips. The breakfast is varied (mostly Italian type), the people at the front desk are kind. The room was quite big also. The only “bad” thing is that during the night is noisy outside so my sister had some problems to sleep well.

Not a good experience. I understand you get what you pay for, but our room smelled like sewage and smoke. The bathroom smelled horrendous and we had to keep the door closed at all times and open our window to air out the room while we were gone. Also, when we arrived, I had booked 2 rooms in advance. It was not a smooth check in whatsoever. The man at the check in counter was extremely rude. He was instant that I only had one room when I showed him my booking receipt and confirmation email. He told us to come back later without resolving the issue. Luckily, when we came back it was a new, more friendly worker that made check in smooth.

36度くらいあるとても暑い日にチェックイン後、エアコンのリモコンがなく、外出時にフロントに伝えた所、戻った時にリモコンを渡すと言われました。 戻った時ににリモコンを渡されましたが4個くらい試したがエアコンは機能せず。汗がどんどん出てき耐えれる状況ではない事をフロントに言うと1時間交渉した後 扇風機を用意された。 それでも暑く、窓を開けると通りがうるさくて寝れる状況ではなく、部屋を変えてもらう事を言ったがソールドアウトと言われて、スタッフが天井に登って30分ほど見てエアコン動いたと言われました。 しかし送風で涼しくならずで諦めて、送風の熱波と扇風機とで暑いまま朝まで過ごしました。 疲れて早く寝たいところを夜中10〜12時まで2時間交渉にかかり無駄な時間を過ごしたのと暑い部屋で余計に疲れたのと、スタッフの最悪な対応にがっかりなホテルでした。 他の方がチェックインしてるところを見ましたが、ホテルキーとエアコンのリモコンだと渡していました！ そこで気づきましたが、最初からエアコンが壊れた部屋だとホテルは把握していたのを隠していた事も許せません。

No me gustó que mi habitación era muy ruidosa, se escuchaba todo y varias veces me despertaba en la madrugada por el escándalo. Decidí quedarme una noche más y el precio sube excesivamente, si me hubieran comentado antes, mejor cambiaba de hotel. Lo bueno es la cercanía con la estación de tren y los lugares de interés. El desayuno nada excepcional.
