Helt ok hotell. Parkering utanför. Rummen är fräscha. Duschen var däremot inte så bra. Duschmunstycket sitter fast förankrat och man kan inte ta loss det. Det är dåligt och kan lätt rättas till. Frukost fika och höll normal standard för Storbritannien.

Room was clean modern and comfortable. Good bed Modern flat screen TV. Modern toilet. The shower was poor. The finish of the ceiling on the second floor corridor was shabby.

Convenient location, terrific food

Visiting for a family wedding. The front desk staff was flexible with our multiple flight delays (curse you, American Airlines), and they and the restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. Food in the pub was VERY good. Beds were what I consider typical European hotel beds: slightly smaller and firmer than US beds. We still got good nights' sleeps, though. Within the town, there are many places to eat, get coffee, and just stroll around. A walkable park is nearby. Shopping is that of a typical working-class town: a few boutiques, many second-hand and dollar stores, and a few cute souvenir shops. A bus terminal and the beach are a few short steps away. Two suggestions: make the entire property more handi-friendly (NO elevators; we had to lift our baggage up stairs all the time) and provide small refrigerators. I understand you want people to eat downstairs, and for the most part we did, but with a Lidl conveniently located across the street, it was hard not to bring home snacks that needed refrigeration.

Nice pub/restaurant, could do another member of staff when restaurant is busy, pub bar neglected, had to go around to the restaurant bar to order a drink, they sent anyone to the pub bar to serve. Still enjoyed my stay though 😊👍

nettes Hotel in guter Lage mit einigen Macken

nettes Hotel, Zimmer mit einer schönen Größe und eine Dachgaube als Fenster. Jeden Tag gab es neue Handtücher, das ist nicht Nachhaltig. Parkplatz ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz, kostenfrei. Aber eben manchmal auch gut belegt. Lage nahe dem Strand und mitten in der "City". Was ist so einer Kleinstadt nichts heißt. Personal ist etwas umständlich. Fängt an, dass ein Einchecken ab 14:00 möglich sein soll. Uns wurde gesagt, dass das Zimmer noch nicht fertig ist. Erst ab 15:00. Okay einmal durch die Stadt geschlendert und am Strand vorbei. 15:15 waren die Zimmer noch immer nicht fertig. Ein Getränk angeboten bekommen und um 16:30 endlich im Zimmer. Zum Frühstück muss man sich anstellen um einen Platz zu bekommen. Man steht schon mal ein paar Minuten mehr. Das Personal kommt vorbei und sagt nicht einmal guten Morgen.

Totally Useless Staff No reception staff on arrival after 10 min wait went to the bar and was told somebody’s would be there shortly another couple tried to check in they went to the bar and were told the receptionist was helping out in the kitchen 20 mins later still no staff so went into bar which was not busy at all and complained and was told that they were very busy and receptionist was helping in the kitchen and would come as soon as free 30 mins after arriving and waiting to checkin someone appeared with no apologies for wait or lateness Shambolic and utterly useless staffing Basil Fawlty could have done a better job
