Last week we had the privilege to stay at the beautiful Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas. The villas have phenomenal views with the glass wall that spans from your shower to the bedroom; I never missed a moment of the ocean with mountains in the backdrop. Our very private patio view (villa #9) with a cold plunge pool was where I spent my days. The bed had comfortable linen and down pillows. Coffee and Tea with kettles are in the room. The Staff is so friendly: from Alexandria at check-in to Brian and Jeffrey the valets to Alejandra and Neivy in dining our time was special and this busy healthcare worker needed to be still and quiet. I enjoyed the Turkish h eggs at breakfast. And the beef carpaccio at the Italian resturante in Las Catlinas was sooo delcious. The view from the Restaurant was simply breathtaking and the best spot in the house for sunset drinks with my hubby!

Do yourself a favor - just go!

Our stay at Casa Chameleon was beyond superb. All staff members were attentive and friendly. We were consistently addressed by our names and greeted by all staff we passed. When issues popped up in our room (the air conditioner and hot water not working), they were fixed expediently. The front desk staff was always there to ensure our requests were fulfilled - from activity and restaurant reservations to contracting rides for us to various locations. The property itself is a destination. The view from every single vantage point takes your breath away. Las Catalinas is a growing town with plenty of restaurants to satisfy any palette. The room was one of the most romantic I have ever stayed in. The view was incredible, and I could live on that balcony. It was so very private we felt like we were on a honeymoon. Finally, when the airport was closed and we were stranded for 3 extra days, the staff was kind and accommodating, leaving us without a worry in the world.

Fernanda and Andy and Gravier the front office /lobby attendants and Glen and Milton were amazing! at the Sentido Norte reastaturan the waiters Omer, Andres, Christian, Ana Isabel, bartenders, etc teh chefs etc were truly exceptional, from the room cleaning staff to the highest positions were all very humble and professional. The highlight was definitely the stunning view. We couldn’t get enough of it! Having a private pool right outside our room made the experience even more special. I should note that the facility is basically built on a hillside so the villas have a fair number of stairs to get to (we had a climb of about 80 stairs). Ocean views are worth the view.

Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas is a dream destination for those seeking luxury, privacy, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a chilled towel. The property’s hilltop location offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest. Our villa 14 was thoughtfully designed with a private saltwater plunge pool, open-air shower, and fires that open to the beautiful plunge pool. The on-site restaurant, Sentido Norte, serves breakfast (included in the stay) each morning. This included fresh juice, fruits, pastries, and your choice of entree. A few practical tips: the terrain is steep, so be prepared for some walking, but the staff is always ready to assist with golf cart rides and also help with luggage. Also, if driving, opt for a suv because the road to get there is rough. Overall, Casa Chameleon exceeded all expectations!!
