WOW! Fresh milk in the room for teas and coffee. I would highly recommend The Royal. We arrived late on a Sunday and the hotel kept the kitchen open for us to have an evening meal. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was superb, one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The breakfast was just as delicious. If we could have stayed an extra night, we would have.

We are a family of three who spent two nights in the family room. It was spotless, comfortable, very well presented with good facilities. We had an issue on our first night but the staff did their best to deal with it. Fortunately this was resolved. Breakfast was great, excellent quality and a good selection. We found The Royal a well managed hotel run by Phil and his staff. It offered excellent food and accommodation complimented with excellent garden facilities where we could have a drink and relax. Ideally situated the hotel is only minutes from Heyshem seafront.

The Royal presents itself impeccably. It has quality everywhere you look. Our room was immaculate and food quality didn’t let us down. However, our experience at breakfast was a little disappointing as everything was being cleared away before we had finished eating!! And our charges to the room were taken from my credit card without any prior consultation. Still waiting for an email of my bill which was promised? All just seemed a bit unprofessional?
