Our room faced the quay with a lovely view of the boats and pretty houses on the other side. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our breakfast and Sarah, the owner, was very helpful. We stayed overnight and were out most of the time exploring the area and enjoying the great local seafood.

We had a wonderful stay at The Anchorage, Sarah and Jamie were excellent host and made our stay very comfortable. The room overlooking the bay was stunning and loved sitting in the window watching the world go by. Perfect location for restaurants, pubs and shops. Would highly recommend

Great stay at lovley Hotel

We just arrived home after great stay at The Anchorage Weymouth and have to say it was One of the Best Hotels we have been to and we go to Weymouth a lot. Our hosts Sarah&Jamie were warm and friendly Our room was spacious and very clean really good shower in ensuite bed very comfortable and great view of the harbour from our window. And finally breakfast plentiful and very nice.

Welcoming check in with friendly and professional service. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room had a wonderful view of the beach and was light and airy with huge windows the bed comfortable and very quiet at night. The breakfast was nicely presented and enjoyable. If we were to nit pick, although the shower cubicle was glass, it was rather small and a flexible hose to the shower head, as opposed to the rigid pipe would be a great improvement.

The Anchorage long weekend stop for a solo guest

Nice location, between the beach and the harbour. Very hospitable hosts, who welcomed me on the first day and maintained a cheerful approach throughout my stay. First class breakfast and although not strictly ensuite bathroom, there was a dedicated bathroom a floor down just for me which was excellent.

A quick stay

I only needed a one night stay so did not really benefit from the brilliant location; almost on the beach and so close to the harbour. The place was spotless and immaculate and the landlady pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The room was comfortable. I am not a great fan of addition of ensuites by building pods inside the room but everything worked and room was not cramped.
