Very nice little hotel nearby VIK. The hotel is located near a waterfall in a very nice spot. The room was quite large and everything was very clean. They also have some games and even snacks available for everyone staying to enjoy. Very good option at a reasonable price.

This was, without a doubt, our favourite stay of the trip. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. We were greeted with a delicious homemade chocolate cake baked by the owner, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. The whole place felt like a home away from home. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring, and the warm hospitality made our stay even more special. The highlight for us was their lovely, friendly dog. He came to greet us when we arrived, and our daughter had so much fun playing with him. When we left the next morning, he was there again, quietly watching us go with what looked like a sad face. It honestly felt like we'd known him forever, and saying goodbye was surprisingly emotional. Thank you for making our stay so unforgettable. We would love to come back one day!

What an amazing find!! We knew we wanted to set up a base close to some of the tour spots instead of going back and forth to Reykjavik and this was for sure the best decision. The place is so quant and well taken care of. It is family run and the host we met and worked with most of the time was Ana. She was fantastic! We had a view of the bay area, and right behind is a beautiful waterfall! If I am ever in that area again, I will for sure be staying there again. Not really walkable to many place, but short drives.

The cottage was beautiful. Gorgeous views of the lake and a waterfall behind. Incredible views of the northern lights when we were there. Excellent amenities. Delicious baked goods free on the reception and bonus lovely friendly dogs ran to greet us when we got there.

This place was amazing. The property has breathtaking scenery. The room was spacious and comfortable. The mini kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal and if you needed anything there was a communal kitchen with additional items. The host made cookies and cake each day. She stayed up to let us know about the bad weather. I highly recommend this lovely place.

The Garage was my absolute favorite hotel that we stayed in. The Family that owns the farm were wonderful and even baked us cakes. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. They also had little booklets in the rooms that told us other places to check out. Loved it!
