Very nice quaint hotel next to a beautiful lake. It’s an older hotel, but very nicely done. Beautiful lake views, nice town, bar and grill with music by the lake and steakhouse on site. Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. The hotel is tired and in much need of a remodel. Bathrooms were dated. No fitness facility (I don’t count the alcove). The sheets had pills on them.

Other than the parking area inconveniences my overall stay was amazing as always! Some floor mats at the patio door would be helpful in keep the floors at the entrance clean and with no carpet the bed slid on occasion. Just small inconveniences, not enough to be a deal breaker. Blue Heron Inn is a MUST STAY!

The room was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. This is an older inn undergoing some renovations. We would opt to stay here again instead of the chain hotels. Breakfast was adequate and the location was phenomenal right on Pine Lake.

Cute Inn on Pine Lake; easy parking, clean and roomy entry, friendly staff, hallways and room smell nice, room has plenty of space, comfortable bed with pillow top (ask for pillows that meet your preference), clean and updated floors and bathroom, quiet area, attached restaurant and bar with great food selections, nice outside decks with views of the lake, good breakfast selections, and close to lots of shopping and activities

I stayed in a "Standard room". Room was large, clean, but had a pergo hard floor and full size (not Queen) bed. Two windows, one with decent curtains, the other covered with cheap plastic mini-blinds which did little to keep out the light at 5:00am from an east facing wall. Furniture and fittings were adequate but looked like they were scavenged from Home Depot discontinued and various estate sales. This is not a cookie cutter chain Hotel but a Family owned place which has been built up and added to, over a Number of years. Therefore the rooms can vary quite a bit. The Location is besautiful next to Pine Lake. I suspect the rooms facing the lake are much nicer.

I was expecting more I guess. Beds were awful as well as bedding. Upstairs noise was loud. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Towels subpar. Didn't stay for breakfast so can't speak on that. Had I paid full price I probably would of been upset!

There was no elevator in this facility. I had gotten this particular accommodation because I had a handicapped family member living nearby that I wanted to visit with us while we were in town. Because of no elevator, they were not able to visit us. The “buffet breakfast “ was lacking. It is a beautifully quaint place to stay! It just needs some tweaking!

We have book a spa room for the last 4 years. My birthday is in January and always cold. The staff is great. Restaurant on site for dinner and great breakfast bar. It’s a wonderful place visit in the summer but also well worth the off season stay.
