OK for single night stay

Very expensive for what you get. Self service, which isn't a problem, however the room was very small and smelt musty (Not great when your asthmatic). I was clean as far as I could tell, but had a poor nights sleep due to the tight chest. The included breakfast was literally an Alpen bar, an Oats pot and a Capri Sun which was left in the room. Only real positives was that the lady I spoke to over the phone was friendly and eager to be as helpful as possible. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere, and only book if your in a jam

This place has chosen to not have ANY staff on site due to Covid. This is an absolutely absurd measure and quite contradictory. We did not feel safer whatsoever. In fact, I found it difficult to sleep through the night knowing that anyone could walk into the lobby in the night and perhaps find extra keys to the rooms- who knows when the place it not attended! Our door was left cracked open and this is their solution to 'self check-in'. Several times we passed by the door a flight below us that was also left cracked open. Had we not been honest people we could have easily gone into that room- again- absolutely zero security. No way to know whether someone had already been in our own room that was left open. It only takes one person to stay at this place that is unsavory and know how they are operating to easily take advantage. Our room was not clean either- the mirror was covered in what looked to be someones facial excretions?! Also- no fitted sheet on the mattress, just a thin flat sheet barely tucked into the top of the bare mattress. It was very loud until about 2am as well- the person below us was yelling with excitement and thumping about. This place is a hot mess- AVOID at all costs! I regret not spending extra money on a more reputable place.

Very limited free parking

Very limited on site free parking. As there was a function happening on the first night we had to find side street parking as the car park was full with the driveway blocked. Not all windows had curtains... so had to block one with pillows to reduce street light in the room. Other curtains were quite thin. Bed and ensuite facilities were nice, especially walk in shower.

2/10 Poor

The room was booked for 2 people, toiletries were only enough for 1 person, when we asked for more we had to wait 6 hours to get them, then told by owner you only paid 40 pounds lucky you have a bed and I charge for extra toiletries rude, no hospitality, water from taps was luke warm on a cold day, thermostat in room broken, poor sound insulation between rooms

Noisy at night

The room is good for business users and parking is good but tight. But for the cost no issues. 2 points to mention there should check the milk powder in room for the compliment tea and coffee which I felt dropped the standard, and a large notice to tell other guests when they come back late to respect other people as they have meetings the following morning and would like a good sleep. This would really damage the hotel repetition as people stay over night to sleep
Small room
Very good shower and comfortable bed

Stay in this place- it is nice, cosy and quiet!

I had a pleasant stay. I booked it 4 hours before arriving. 15min within booking it, got a call with details about the contactless check-in, my room etc. The bathroom looked recently renovated. It was clean and equipped with toiletries I could need for my stay. I had a room on the top floor with lovely windows. The room was properly heated (advise you to check your heater is on ad first night I did not). At night gets a bit colder and it is automatic so will switch on when it is needed. There was an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, kettle and tea/coffee, towels. The bed was very comfi and had a whole arsenal of pillows- 4 I think to suit high and low pillow preferences. I honestly had nice time. Probably if I ever go back to Manchester, will stay there. Downstairs there is an Italian restaurant and 10 min walk is a street full of places to grab something to eat. The place is just 12min of so from Oxford street, it is quite regular and had a bus stop in 30 metres or so from the hotel. If you made it this far- I had a horrible experience in another place so checked at least 10 places thoroughly before booking it. It is good if you want to relax and sleep (most places have noise issues and no hot water).

Bait and Switch

I rented a room with three beds for me and my friends. I showed up and the "room" was actually an apartment that was 20 minutes drive from the hotel. the hotel offered to shuttle us to the apartment, but their driver was late. Not a good experience when you want to rest after a long travel day. We get to the apartment and there is only one bed not three. They offer to get us an air mattress but one of us had to sleep on the couch. Furthermore the heat in the apartment had not been turned on and the room was freezing and took over an hour to get to a habitable temperature. The room did not have any towels, bed sheets or toilet paper. We had to call our shuttle driver back to deliver these items which took over an hour and a half. Overall, a disastrous experience. Don't stay here unless it's your last and only option.
