This was the best place we stayed at!!! It wasn’t fancy like a high end hotel, but the unit was HUGE!!!!…an apartment!!! It had a kitchen a medium size refrigerator with an actual freezer & the best part, a washing machine in your apartment that you don’t have to pay per load!!!!! That in itself for the convenience of actually having that in your room is AMAZING!!!! Only a 10 minute easy, flat walk to Kyoto station & down a nice quiet street.

Very clean, compact, safe and quiet. The area is close to the Kujo station, one stop from main Kyoto station. The area is not as lively or as beautiful as others but feels safe at night.
