My husband & I stayed for a week at Tesouro de Baixa, we loved it!!! LOCATION LOCATION, walking to all main plazas & attractions in Baixa & Chiado; and very close to public transportation stops to go to Alfama & Barrio Alto. Also close to train station to take you to Sintra & Cascais. The breakfast offered was excellent, variety. The staff was super nice, they were always courteous, willing to help us, and provided us with lots of great information. We would go back to Tesouro.

This boutique hotel was amazing. A large part of that is due to the staff. They are so friendly and always willing to help with any questions you have. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is great! Very interesting, modern refurbished old building. Very near shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable! It is a very urban area, so do be prepared for some noise and light at night. A sleep mask and ear plugs may be a great idea of you are sensitive.

Not just a hotel but an experience

My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed everything about the Tesouro da Baixa except finding it (the front door's sandwiched between two shoe stores). Marvelous and helpful staff, spacious rooms, great views from our balcony, fresh eggs cooked to order from the hotel's own chickens, eclectic art decorating the walls and halls, perfect central location to hold Lisbon in the palm of your hand. Highly recommended.
