Overall this is a great option for a comfortable, safe hotel in the area. Some of the rooms are starting to show wear so a more regular review would be helpful (paint, appliances, etc). The power went out while I was there (snow storm so not the fault of the hotel) but I was surprised that there were no emergency lights in the room and apparently no back up generator. Generators are a necessity in that part of the country so an investment in that equipment would be important. Since I was in an ADA compliant room it is crucial to have emergency lights for those with mobility issues. The staff was friendly and I would stay here again. Just a little more attention to details, especially in winter, would be wise for this location.

We stayed in 20 some hotels on our Colossus of Roads Trip and this was either the Best or in the top three. The room was perfect four our group of four — two bedrooms with great beds and pillows, a kitchen and sitting area, three TVs and so many plugins at bedside. Breakfast was great, there were plenty of choices (including Nutella) and if you didn’t get everything charged in your room, there were more plugins in the breakfast tables!

Misleading description of the room

Booked a one bedroom suite with a sleeper sofa for three adults. Turned out the king bed was not in a separate bedroom. The sleeper sofa was positioned to open up against the foot of the bed so very inconvenient for everyone. Hotels.com may be responsible for the inaccuracies - seems to have gone downhill in the last few years.
