Fort Lewis Retreat!

Comfortable and cozy locale. The food was classic country fare. They did an impressive job with renovations/upgrades, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Only con: the towels smelled a bit moldy, and we returned with inexplicable bumps/rashes from being outside (too much time in the river?). We will definitely return, and we highly recommend the place.

Had a great experience at the Fort Lewis Lodge. We relaxed on the pavilion and floated in a tube on the river. The food was fantastic and made from scratch by the staff a kitchen that is in full view of the dining room. Staff was very friendly and offered information on local attractions.

All I can say is , It was heaven . The food was amazing , everywhere was sooooooooooooo clean , the view was amazing , If you need sometimes for your self to get rest and relax just go to Fort Lewis.

Great location in the wilds of western Virginia.

Enjoyed a scenic and serene weekend at Ft Lewis. The staff was wonderful, the food fantastic. If you like hiking this is a great location. Other activities are available but we didn't have the time to try them, but everyone we talked to sounded very pleased with activities like fishing, biking, swimming, etc.
