Pleasant bar/resto/hotel on the beach. Roon clean, made up daily, good hvac, hot water, back from loud entertainment and beachfront activity. Swimming pool. Staff helpful and friendly. Included breakfast was good.

I gave 4 out 5 for this resort. It is not convenient for elderly who has difficulty of walking to the of the entrance. It is difficult to go in and out from the resort to the main road; there is quite a walk from the drop off area. Otherwise, it will be an excellent resort for me.

This Hotel is not big and not a 5 star Hotel, but it should be it is right on the beach the staff is amazing the room is very nice the restaurant is very good and also they serve a very nice breakfast. We enjoyed the hotel, a 3 star really but staff was good, pool tiny, food very good, band is awesome but they played the same songs each night and too many people asking to sing songs themselves that the crowd would turn and play with their phones instead tells you something, let the band play instead.

Very good location. Complimentary Breakfast choices were good, however some options were not available and substitution options not given. There was construction going on. We had reserved and paid for an ocean view room. Due to the construction not all the ocean view rooms were available at check in. The ones available were already occupied. We were given a pool view room. This was disappointing. No concessions were offered. Just a sorry sir for the inconvenience.

Water pressure is strong and there is instant warm water. Room is clean. Property is just a few steps from the shoreline. Free Breakfast is very good and w/in your allowance unless you want to eat more/addtl. charge. You got dining options for lunch and dinner. Staffs were very helpful especially “Judy” who was very knowledgeable and very helpful during our stay. Very commendable. Now, The problem is check in. The local gov’t police won’t allow your car to go down the street to drop off your luggage. It’s a long walk down to the beach and It’s a long walk on the sandy walkway to the property. We’re just lucky that we only have our hand carry roller bags. It’s a different story if you have a check in/large luggage dragging it in the sand. Checking out was easy because the hotel property helped us with a hand trolley with our luggage. Also, they have a live band that plays music until 11pm. You might request to have a room at the back of the property. Overall, the hotel is nice and great for our budget.

I would stay at Alona Vida again. It has beach access in a quieter area of Alona Beach. The room & furnishings are outdated but the air conditioner is new & the room is clean. There was always a big balcony in my room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The pool is a small kidney bean shape and good for cooling off in but noisy when busy. There is always live music in the evening.

Currently doing noisy renovations, would have been nice to be informed before booking. I was in a recently renovated room. Great location. Live band every night. 300m walk to hotel front down a beach path so take that into account with your luggage. Overall good place to stay.
