Extremely helpful staff. The room was large , clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of free parking. We decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were not disappointed. The meal was fantastic! The property around the hotel is lovely. Worth taking a stroll. Highly recommend this hotel!

Unfreundliches Personal!

Leider ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis beim Frühstück. Obwohl der Saal fast leer war, wurde ich (alleinreisend) von einer Mitarbeiterin recht forsch angewiesen, nicht an einem Dreiertisch zu sitzen. Kurz darauf wurde ein Pärchen freundlich an einen größeren Tisch gebeten – inklusive Kaffee-Service, obwohl eigentlich Selbstbedienung war. Als ich das an der Rezeption ansprach, hieß es nur, es sei eine „persönliche Empfindungssache“ – und dass es noch nie Beschwerden über die Kollegin gegeben habe und das Gespräch wirkte eher abweisend als interessiert. In einem zufällig entstandenen Gespräch mit anderen Gästen zeigte sich jedoch, dass auch sie unzufrieden mit dem Personal waren. Ganz so subjektiv scheint mein Eindruck also doch nicht gewesen zu sein. Schade – man wünscht sich als Gast mehr Wertschätzung und einheitlichen, freundlichen Umgang und so fühlt man sich als Gast nicht wirklich willkommen. Allgemein: Zimmer OK, Frühstück nichts besonderes. Lage gut.

2eme sejour dans cet établissement. tres bel hotel avec superbe chambre, literie 1,80 x2.00mmais absence de coffre fort et bouillard pour se faire 1 thé ou café. Belle piscine bien chauffee. Mais on ressent tout de meme la crise avec 1 spa ouvert qu'à partir de 15h00,quelques restrictions au niveau du buffet du petit dejeuner. L'accueil pourrait etre plus convivial.On ressent l'absence des gérants. La chambre etait au rdc au lieu d'un 1er ou 2eme etage avec terrasse et vue sur la forêt noire, alors que l'hotel etait loin d'être rempli. Dommage.l'hotel est classe pour le prix demandé.

Ein tolles Hotel, im Moment aber im Umbau, die aber nicht stören. Der bisher umgebaute Teil sieht super aus. Der Empfang mit seinem riesigen Baum gibt einem das richtige Schwarzwald Gefühl. Als Geschäftsreisender hätte ich mir noch einen kleinen Tisch für meinen Computer gewünscht, aber einen Abend ging es auch so. Wenn die Umbauarbeiten vorbei sind, werde ich gerne wiederkommen. Was ich bisher gesehen habe, sah es super aus. Zuvorkommendes Personal und kleines aber ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet.

Pulled thought great nice big hotel. Receptionist was very curt, told us no restaurant tonight, wow great just arrived after a long journey, now have to go find a restaurant open. Room very big and spacious, beds comfy as well. A little disappointed no water in rooms and no coffee/ tea making facilities, with there being no bar etc, you could die of thirst and no minibar either. Very strange. At £160 a night I would have expected that x
