The suite was lovely and clean. Nice view from our room. Bedroom remote wasn’t working properly. No one at the desk when we went to check in. I had missed calls from them, so perhaps they were trying to tell me they would not be available. They were there about 4. Very nice.

The only place in Bowling Green that my wife and I will stay. However, after waking up @ 7 Saturday morning my wife realized the creamer for the coffee in the room had gone bad, she called and asked for a replacement from the kitchen. Told the kitchen didn’t open until 8, we ask that creamer be brought up… we left at about 10:30 after drinking our black coffee.

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday this past weekend. We stayed in the Metropolitan Suite and it was as close to PERFECT as any hotel stay I've ever had! The room was immaculately clean when we arrived! The bed was so comfy and the linens smelled super clean. The suite is super spacious—like the size of a LARGE one-bedroom apartment. This suite could have easily accommodated a small group (3-4) friends. No huge complaints other than we could never find the remote for the TV in the bedroom and I ran out of hot water while taking a bath. Also, Expedia lists that this site has continental breakfast and that is incorrect. Other than that, I would say it’s perfect!!

This was our second time staying here. There are some facility concerns that need to be addressed by the staff/owner. First of all the hot water heater isn’t big enough to fill the bathtubs with hot water and the water pressure is poor. Second in the second-story Lincoln suite there was a leak coming from the ceiling in the shower around the light. This was extremely concerning this leak did not impact our stay, however. We were also disappointed that the piano bar is now only open for special/private events. I feel this location has a lot of potential, but it’s not utilizing it’s on site. Resources adequately. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and the rooms are very nice.

Let's be clear on this property; it is not a typical hotel. There is nothing full service about the property. We stayed two nights and did not get service in our room. There is not a restaurant, bar, or full time staff onsite. The housekeeper did stop by at 8 AM on our departure day to give us an unwanted wake-up call. Apparently, the walls are very thin. We had one of two penthouses and had a couple of friends over to visit. The person in the penthouse next door starts beating on the wall and 10 minutes later someone shows up and says we are being too loud. No one was yelling, no loud music, nothing more than some adults talking. Some sound proofing needs to be done so guests do not get bothered for talking in their room. It is ridiculous. There were three TV's with a stack of remotes. Only the bedroom TV had cable. Not sure what the other TV's are for. The towels are lower quality and terribly scratchy. There were no tissues in the bathroom. The shower did not have a door or curtain so you were freezing half the time while showering. I would not recommend this property unless you want to pay boutique pricing and get little value in return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kentucky Grand! One of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed at! They have huge suites, excellent staff & amazing location right in the downtown area! We walked across the street to their partner restaurant Hcikoy & Oak and it was phenomenal! Cliffs of Moher & Insomnia cookies were also a hit! Will be coming back soon!

This hotel is like nothing else you’ll find in Bowling Green. It’s a posh little boutique hotel that elevates the entire downtown area. Our suite had an awesome view of the town square and the rates are extremely reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend!

Classic Gem in city

Wishing for more than one night! lovely spacious suite with large windows to enjoy the views. Very well appointed decor and comfortable furniture. Location was close to green spaces and fountain square. Best pizza EVER at Alley Pub and Pizza four blocks away made for a nice relaxing evening for tired travelers.
