My group and I had perhaps the best hotel experience we’ve ever had at The Devonian. I cannot say enough good words about how welcoming, friendly and helpful the staff (owner?) was. From arriving early morning and being able to put our bags in one of the rooms despite check in being hours later, to providing really helpful advice on navigating the bus strikes, just utterly exemplary. The hotel itself was beautiful, well kept, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I can’t fault it and would return without question if we ever go back to the Isle of Man.

Great Location, about 20min walk to the Sea Terminal, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The host is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast freshly cooked. A few cons: 1. The single room is a bit small (so wouldn’t recommend if you have big suitcases), and the bed is too soft which doesn’t feel comfortable. 2. The heating in the room is not 24h on, so it might get a bit chilly in the early morning, but there is an extra blanket in the room.

Brilliant 3 night stayover at The Devonian, IoM.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, accommodated our preferred check in time, and very welcoming staff. Everthing was spotless, and room/bathroom cleaned daily. Toiletries provided as is tea coffee facilities in room. Breakfasts were fantastic, such a lovely varied menu catering for all tastes. Centrally situated for all attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Proper British B&B

This was a proper British room. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and friendly and the breakfast options were plentiful. They were also able to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergy which is always appreciated when travelling. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel. My room was very homely and comfortable. I was on the top floor so had a view of the sea, which was only a couple of minutes walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.
