It’s definitely better than when I was younger. Maybe I didn’t get a room that was more remodeled. This is for a trip you plan on not really being in the room. It’s literally a place to shower and maybe get a quickie in. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Good for a bargain hotel

I was worried but knew we just needed a place to pass out on NYE. Pleasantly surprised that the room was clean and everything worked! Parking is free. Check in was easy. It’s bare bones, nothing fancy. But it’s exactly what we needed and we felt safe!

Very noisy Ac/heater. Keeps waking people up whole night. Spacious room. Bed was very comfortable. There was a nice small fridge and microwave.

You get what you pay for

It was fine. Room was clean, bed was huge, towels changed daily. Lots of noise outside due to other guests and the main road. Too far out of Chicago so a bit of a pain but reasonable transport for a decent price so still doable. Staff were nice and price was great.

My overall all feeling of my stay was disappointing. I was glad I rented the room for only one night. The room was unappealing and it looked old. The hair dryer didn't work and the iron was missing. The bathroom tub was chipped and the soap container was locked to the shower wall. I didn't feel safe. The staff didn't seem friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

S**T-HOLE is too nice a term for this dump. The mattress was older than me. Plenty of broken glass in the parking lot. I slept with my gun at the nightstand because I didn't trust the door lock.

My hat and shorts were stolen from my room and the the employees didn’t do anything about it. I think it was the room service people. Definitely would never recommend this place to anyone. You will hear sirens and noise 24/7. It’s unsafe and dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Overnight Trip

I had an early morning doctors appointment to get a new Insulin Pump put on me. I booked a room for a Thursday night and then we got hit with big snow storms and roads were closed. I couldn't find on line how to cancel and then re-book a room for another night.I looked on the Expedia Web site and found a 800 number to call and I did. The young lady that answered my call then did everything for me, She called the motel and had the dates switched with no penalty cost or anything. I think that is what you can call great service.

Cheap for a girls trip to Chicago. We really only slept and showered here. The commute can get long due to traffic, but it wasn’t a big deal. The room was fine and safe, the only thing that bothered us was that the towels did not seem well cleaned. But the inn itself was in fair condition and no one bothered two small girls. I didn’t notice a smell. Very close to good food and the highway. Room service came every day, all was well.
