I needed to find a place on my way back from a work trip on the 4th of July. The hotel was able to accommodate my last minute request AND letting me bring my little dog. The staff was so friendly and while the unit was a bit on the dated side, it was very clean.

Couples trip to Wells!

We enjoyed the location of the motel. Overall, the motel was clean and the employees were friendly! The bed was not very comfortable, and the worst part was the internet! We didn’t have great service in the area and couldn’t connect to the WiFi almost the entire time. That was the biggest downfall since we had family to connect with outside of Maine. Overall, it was a fairly good stay.

Ne’r Beach Motel Review

The area is fantastic, plenty to do and eat. The motel was fine but the bed was uncomfortable and felt like sand under the sheet. Room was clean, bathroom had a bad shower head and the pipe was loose and wobbled. We stayed in room 10. I would look elsewhere if you want a good nights sleep.

I thought it was a great little place to stay with your dog. Plenty of room for the three of us. Clean. Staff was friendly. Bed was a bit on the hard side for me. All in all we would and will stay again. Affordable. Close to beaches.

I was surprised at the quality of the property and my room for the value. Very cute. Updated, great lighting, very strong shower water pressure, quiet, pool although I didn't get a chance to use it but I plan on returning. I’ve stayed before and like the motel. Great location and good value. Just one recommendation: please relocate the basketball hoop away from the rooms so the errant balls don’t hit the parked cars. It’s practically unavoidable and has happened before to me.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a little bit trouble regulating the AC. We made it too cold the first night but, we figured it out the 2nd night. The only issue we had with is the outside light. There was no way to shut it off. So we hung a blanket over the door to block the light.
