I loved the location of the Bay Club Sandestin, and the amenities of the area. We had access to 3 outdoor pools (2 heated), and there was a trolley to the beach area. We were able to visit other local attractions with just a 15min drive. Within the community there was a dedicated walking path that was beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that the actual unit we were staying in, while well-appointed was actual dirty. Walking through the unit after a shower resulted in visibly dirty feet. The showers and bath tub needed to be scrubbed, there was buildup of scum on the bottom of the shower. The kitchen was clean enough, but the dishwasher was dirty enough that I hand washed all dishes rather than put anything in there.

The room was spacious and initially impressive but closer inspection revealed extensive wear and tear, as well as signs of neglectful upkeep. The mattresses were especially disappointing and felt very low quality - they were so uncomfortably soft from age that we slept very poorly throughout the stay. We checked out a day early due to these poor conditions.
