This is a charming hotel right on the Mississippi River. This beautifully decorated, clean, bright hotel is staffed by pleasant and helpful staff. The room was clean, the property is very modern and elegant. However we had requested a river view, and we got an alley view with notification. The windows of the building across the alley were so close that we kept our windows closed the whole time. We didn’t feel comfortable with having strangers look into our window. Plus, the view was very unpleasant. I really was looking forward to the river view, and just wish we would have been informed. I would stay here again but ai would not pay extra for the river view
