Bright and clean studio. Quiet at night. Street parking (less expensive than garage). We stayed in the room with a balcony at the top. Staircase is steep when carrying luggage up, just an FYI. Beds were comfortable and we didn’t need heat as the room was naturally warm. Small kitchenette was well stocked. Location is close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Location is perfect, cute recognizable house, and it was so nice having a clean comfy warm place to relax in between adventures. We got upgraded to the balcony studio unit and the view was great. Small but perfect for 2 people. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only things that weren't perfect were: -the dish brush had hair all up in it, luckily there were some clean sponges but that brush was gross -we never found the shared laundry room that was advertised, but we ended up not having time to do laundry anyway so we never asked Besides that we loved it. Never heard any of the other guests. Met a staff member on the way out and she was lovely. Thank you for making our stay possible!

Loved staying at Alfred's studios - 15 minute walk to the 14 bus stop for the flybus and tours; and 2 blocks from all the shops and restaurants. My tall husband was very happy with the bed lengths, there was everything we needed to cook breakfast. One thing to note - no elevator and the stairs are steep, somewhat narrow and winding so try to get a lower floor room if you bring luggage.
