MONEY STOLEN!! We stayed for 4 nights total and on our last day there, we noticed $500 was stolen from my wallet. No one else had been inside our hotel room except our family and THE CLEANING STAFF. During our second day there, in the morning when I tried to enter my hotel room, there were two cleaning ladies inside my room, and one of them was at the door, HOLDING THE DOOR SHUT while I used my keycard to try to enter. I could hear the other cleaning lady on the other side of the room, and they were speaking to each other in Spanish in a very panicked manner; the one at the door was telling the other lady to hurry up. Once I entered, they quickly rushed out of the room. When I realized my money was stolen in the morning of the day we were checking out, I finally made the connection of what had happened that day when they tried to stop me from entering the room, and how they were the only possible suspects of stealing $500 out of my wallet. We submitted a claim with the hotel while we were checking out, and have never heard since. They promised they would investigate the situation and reach out to us. It's been a whole month and we haven't heard anything. DO NOT recommend your friends and family to stay at this location! We will definitely not be coming back.

No es la primera vez que nos quedamos y me sorprendió ver que ha decaído mucho la limpieza en la barra de desayuno del bufet me tocó ver cucarachas por qué fuimos Muy temprano se lo señalamos a los meseros pero sólo dijeron que ahorita checaban! Igual en los baños y elevadores nos tocó ver sucio u cucarachas por áreas comunes el servicio es bueno el personal muy amable es muy difícil conseguir reserva para los restaurantes en la noche aunque esté co. Poca gente!

Me sorprendió ver mucha cucaracha en las áreas de restaurant y áreas comunes, elevadores sucios y desagües hacia el mar... El servicio muy bueno el personal es amable y el hotel es bonito pero creo que si están descuidando la limpieza ya había estado otras veces ahí y si note una baja en el servicio en general.

Large property

The property is large so you have to take a golf cart everywhere which was inconvenient but they were relatively quick getting to you. Our room wouldn't cool below 72 no matter which buttons we pressed and it was hot. There were mosquitos everywhere in the room even though we didn't keep the doors open. The service was kinda slow but the drinks were REALLY good! Food was also better than other all inclusive that I've been to. The kids club was small and free for one hour but my son was the only one in there so it was great for him and spending an hour there. Check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM which is earlier than most properties and you can only use the amenities until 12PM so sucks if you have a later flight. We used valet which was an extra $12 a day, we got out of the car on arrival and no one moved from their positions to help us?! Lol first time that's happened. No Ubers allowed on property, not a problem for us since we had a car but the walk to the end of the property would be long if you're using Uber. Bonus was that you could eat at some restaurants on the Marina with your AI.

Could not recommend this property enough. All the staff were so beyond friendly and accommodating , the resort was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, the room was comfortable, and everything was absolutely fantastic. 100% worth it to travel to this resort.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Encanto. It is a great property if you have kids because of the availability of suite style rooms. Everyone gets their own bed and some space. We stayed in the Vista Tower and that is our favorite. Our poolside server Angel was awesome and took care of our every need. Elsa at the spa was fantastic and gave one of the best massages! We typically take a cab when we want to leave the resort, but this time we took advantage of the shuttle down to the marina area and it was very convenient. We can’t wait to come back.

The door would not lock in our suite. After being told they would only clean every other day, they came every day, but multiple times a day. Cleaning, bar, towels. Etc. I felt invaded. Property is nice. No microwave, huge fridge, sink, stove!

Me and my friend absolutely loved our stay!! The property is absolutely gorgeous, by far the prettiest place I’ve stayed. All of the staff are so friendly and kind. The food is delicious. El Hacienda Encantada is a safe resort that is perfect for all types of travelers. There’s much to do on and off the property. If you’re looking for things near by, there is a shuttle that will take you to the marina that is just 15 minutes. The hotel can also assist with booking any excursions. I highly recommend coming to this resort!!!

This was our first vacation together, and while the resort itself was beautiful, safe, and had great food and amazing staff, our experience started off rocky. We were misled into attending a 2-hour sales pitch in exchange for a BOGO massage, only to be treated rudely for not buying and later told the massage wasn’t fully covered. We also weren’t informed about the $250 credit card deposit. Overall, the setting was lovely, but the check-in and out process left a bad first and last impression.

This resort is amazing. My family had a great time and hope to come back in the future. The only issue I had was at check in. I was told my 16 year old should have been charged at the adult rate. I booked on Hotels.com, it asked the age of my minor on the travel dates. I booked everything with correct information on to be charged $500 additional for my child to have access to the all-inclusive perk. I believe after 13 your kid is considered an adult. Be aware of this before booking.

Had such an amazing time at this resort definitely 10 out of 10 experience. All the food was so delicious and high-quality especially their steak. Their drinks are really good as well. Everything was unlimited if you get that package, it was so relaxing definitely family friendly felt like such a luxury experience and all the staff was super friendly as well. Property was beautiful and the food was really good probably one of the best for being an all inclusive. The only issue was the service at pools and restaurants. They seem to be understaffed so it took forever for food and drinks to come out. Got a massage and it was amazing.

Our first time staying at this property. 2 adults and 2 kids under 5. Great family friendly environment. The food was great! The breakfast service was always fast, the dinner not so much. We waited on average 50 minutes from sitting down to appetizers hitting the table, not the best. Don’t get me wrong the food was amazing! Another thing we didn’t like was the singing receipts every 30 Minutes when at the pool, especially when you are all inclusive and have to get your kids out the pool to sign a receipt is not ideal. Also night entertainment was cancelled due to slow weekend.
