We had a very nice stay at Hotel Canal View. Check was very efficient, and we appreciate that we were able to check in a little early. Location is outstanding, and it is the primary reason we selected to stay here. We did not experience any problems during our stay.

Super friendly staff and good service. Great location fairly priced.

Melvin the manager was terrific and the location was great. The room was very basic and the building itself is very run down and needs repairs. Quite expensive for a very minimal room:

We gave it all five starts because we LOVED the canal view. It’s an old building with really steep stairs, but this was charming to us. Nothing fancy but great location, clean and we slept great! Close to train station was nice as well. Melvyn checked us in and was very helpful and friendly! Thanks for a great stay!

Canal view is in fat the view of the bottom of a light well, for the price that's way too expensive. Wasn't very clean either.

Hotel was in a great area, staff was very friendly and accommodating but this is more of an Air b&b type room. Better for people traveling who don’t plan on being in their room much.

The location was excellent, close to the main train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was tiny, but for the price and location it was good value for a solo traveler on a budget.

Good and well placed hotel

Great experience in our room, and well placed, not noisy at night. It was clean and very convenient for a short stay.

This was a very comfortable place to stay, in an excellent location with a great view of the canal. Pretty small space, but very adequate for three people. Bathroom door could use some hooks on the back for towels and clothing, as floor gets pretty wet when showering. I would stay here again. Check in and out was very easy.

A great little hotel, however I do believe people need to realise it offers basic rooms which are safe and clean. Very near to the train station, and a few minute walk to central and shopping/dining area.

Nice place to stay, beds were comfy and has a nice view of the canal. Good location, near the train station and within walking distance of all the attractions. Only issue was the small bathroom.

Location is good, very close to Amsterdam Centraal. Room was pretty basic, no elevator so keep that in mind. Staff was friendly. Close to a good breakfast location and nice that it is on a canal.
