Aquilo que se espera de um hostel. Correu tudo bem, mas nao espere conforto maximo. Muito nem localizada, perto de parada de ônibus que vem direto do aeroporto.

Horrible expérience!

Horrible! Plus d'une heure pour faire un check-in! La femme de la reception ne comprenait rien! Pas un sourire, elle discutait avec son collègue sans même me regarder! Arrivé dans la chambre, il y avait des poils partout dans la baignoire! La chambre n'avait pas été nettoyée depuis des mois! Une épaisseur de poussière incroyable sur le ventilateur et j'en passe... Je ne suis pas une personne compliquée mais il y a un minimum quand même! Ce n'est pas chère mais ça ne signifie pas que l'on doit nous traiter comme du bétail! Le seul point positif est l'emplacement.

A little disappointed....

The only good thing about my stay was the location of the hostel. It was in the heart of all shopping, dining and blocks away from the beach. Check In was a breeze and the staff was amazing. However, the room that I stayed in with the rest of the men could have been better. I understand that it is a hostel and not a personal room. However I have stayed in many hostels where the room had a contemporary, fresh and clean look. Unfortunately, that was not the case with this room. The bathroom definitely needs to be remodeled along with the whole room in general. I was not able to lock my stuff up even after purchasing a lock. I am thankful that I didn't have to worry about my stuff being missing. In addition I saw a couple of roaches in the kitchen area. I brought this issue to the staff's attention and was informed that an exterminator was booked to take care of the issue but that would happen after I checked out. Then one of the men that was staying in room stated that he found roaches underneath his bed. He was supposed to check out on the same day as me but checked out early. This is my first negative review that I have left on here regarding a stay. As much I was was willing to overlook certain things, the roach issue is something that I cannot overlook

Not Happy about getting turned Away

They wouldn't accept my stay but they accepted my booking when they told me to leave because I had a Florida local ID even though I don't live here anymore I'm visiting taking care of my mother while she's sick then back to Ohio in a few months. They didn't give me a refund they didn't cancel the booking they just took my money and that's all I had at the moment I'm not happy with hotels.com anymore I don't think I'm going to use this service anymore if this keeps happening this is the second time

The French man at reception refers to black people as monkeys, to homosexuals as the F word and to Jewish people as villains who wish to control the world. I am in none of these groups but heard him saying this loudly and repeatedly for hours in clear earshot of people within all three groups. I was told by staff that I should “chill” because even though he was on duty, he was drunk so why should I care? A drunk reception person on duty should be immediate fired even before the hate speech but he wasn’t even disciplined and remains on duty in good standing. Decide if this is the kind of place you wish to stay. Unless the owner decides to deal with this I caution anyone from staying here. I invite the owner to speak with me.

Pros - The staff are friendly and helpful especially the front desk day staff. Check-in was simple and efficient, they really tried hard to get me my room as soon as they were able. The hostel is in a perfect location just a couple of blocks from the beach. Cons - One of the front desk night staff was aggressive, argumentative, racist, and was seen holding onto a woman's arm inappropriately. He should not be in the hospitality industry. The roaches (everywhere!) were almost unbearable. They were EVERYWHERE, all shapes and sizes.
