4/10 Poor

I like the concept of making most of the property. The community bathroom on the first floor of main house is really cool.

10/10 Excellent

Not your usual hotel room….a room in an old house …different but nice….hardwood floors….could have been noisy but other people in the building were quiet and considerate

We stayed in the Camelia room- it was spacious, and had a comfortable bed. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room and kitchen.

4/10 Poor

The shared bathroom doesn’t lock, there were two towels and one wash cloth for all the rooms to share. I have 4 people here.
Hannah, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Not what I expected

Never could get into place. No room key number. Place was a total wreck from the outside. Later got a room change from owner but was too late. Had already made other plans. Please refund money. Not good

Quiet. Nice area. Rooms need a little updating but the whole property has character and is super convenient for travelers rest.

This is our favorite place to stay when visiting the Greenville area. We move the property and walking around town. Food is excellent! All of the amenities are great onsite and the self check in is really easy if you read the directions.

This is our third time staying here while visiting family in nearby Greenville. Self check-in is great and allowed us to arrive on our own time. Our next stay will be in the small cottage. We are looking forward to it.

Older historic remodeled home. Beautiful and well stocked kitchen and a nice distance away from the main road. Great for traveling with pets

This was an excellent property to stay in. Stayed two nights while we rode the trail and couldn’t have asked for more. Clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending when you are in the Greenville area.
Robert, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Expedia actually sold me a room that the property never had available, booked for 3 nights, and charged for the stay. The property owner was wonderful! They went above and beyond to help resolve the situation, was very impressed and will most definitely be staying here again in the future!
Lloyd, 3-night trip

6/10 Okay

On the surface, the property was great, but when I had to interact with “the owner”, it got worse. I received a two page email, the day of checkin, giving a list of things that we could be fined for. (“Don’t leave large boxes in garbage” “put dishes in dishwasher, not sink”, etc.) then when I texted for help, I was told I should read the instructions. I got it while traveling so I had ti read it on my phone and there was A LOT of information. Also, neither of the coffee machines worked.
Gloria, 1-night trip

We stayed in the Cottage which is very private, cute, and comfortable. The property is in the heart of downtown Travelers Rest. Many great shops and restaurants are within walking distance. There is no staff on the property, so having any problems addressed may be concern.
Lisa, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Great Place!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back. Very clean and had everything we needed. The keurig in the kitchen would not work but fortunately our room keurig worked just fine. They had lots of nice snacks available as well as the use of a shared full kitchen.
Theresa, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Not as it seems...

I had stayed here previously in 2020 and was shocked to see how much this (formerly lovely) property had deteriorated since then. The house no longer looks just like the picture and there was no sign for the establishment along the road (it appears to be lying flat on the ground now). The grounds and the house itself appear to be badly neglected. I stayed in the studio and its porches were covered in mold and spiderwebs. The inside appeared to be clean but the state of things right outside the door made me wonder.... Note: You also have to pay an additional "cleaning fee" of $10 before you check in - it's a hidden cost not shown on Hotels.com when you book it. It was passable for an overnight stay (though not for the price) but I will not stay here again.

Bike in bike out!! Adorable property for anyone biking the Swamp Rabbit Trail from Greenville to Travellers Rest. Fully stocked communal kitchen and living room areas with large, gracious bedrooms and baths. Love this place for charm and individuality. Unique.
Cynthia, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The house was so comfortable, clean and welcoming. It's only a few minutes walk to the downtown area. The property has such character. I highly recommend! We stayed there to attend a wedding locally, but would actually think about staying at the Swamp Rabbit Inn as a weekend destination.
Debora, 2-night trip

4/10 Poor

I rented 2 cottages and one room in the main house for my family recently. The upkeep of the exterior property is poor. The buildings desperately need painting and there is no landscaping. All the outdoor furniture is rusted metal. The decking around the Coach house is rotting and railings are loose. There are no signs or instructions as to where to park although most of the area is gravel around the buildings. The interior of the main building has been updated but what they offer for breakfast is cereal and stale muffins and bagels. There were no bottled water or drinks available except Keurig coffee. It was made explicitly clear to me that those staying in the cottage rooms could not eat the breakfast they provided. The Studio AC and fan were not working thus making that room extremely hot. The Coach house closet clothes rod was broken so there was no where to hang up clothing. My family complained of the beds in the Coach house being very uncomfortable. I only got a text from the owners when I requested another code for entry to the main house as Expedia failed to send me the correct information. The owner blamed Expedia for the failing. For the price I paid for these rooms I expected much more and was embarrassed to have placed my family at this property.
