Rakuro is in the kind of special location where we would choose to live if we lived in Kyoto. Its concept and setting made us genuinely happy. Location is very convenient as it is right at a train station exit. We drove into town and parking was relatively easy to find near the hotel. Night time parking rate starts 19:00 or 20:00 for most paid parking. The rooms are clean but very small and we have trouble opening more than one luggage. Overall it is a good value hotel at a convenient location unless small Japanese room size concerns you.
