The room was amazing! Beautifully arranged and all the amenities, the best was the porch overlooking the trees and the birds, breakfast was great. It’s pretty far from La Fortuna and most activities and wr didn’t rent a car. The host did drive us but we were limited in what we could do.

Carlos was always available to answer questions or give suggestion, and booked us a day trip with no additional charges. It’s an hour away from La Fortuna but great place if looking to relax and enjoy panoramic views. Road to La Fortuna is very windy and lush but well paved. Try to avoid driving in dark though. Overall a great stay here..

You don't stay in Arenal for the area around the B&Bs. You go to Arenal because it's funky and quiet and friendly . We return to Casa Donna Rosa for the welcoming owners and most of all for the fantastic breakfast preparations. I have only been gone one day and I miss their breakfasts already. Home baked Challah in think hunks with baked crisp finish the their french toast...yumm even before you try adding the smear of preserves. Great Costa Rican coffee is served with pots of wam milk.
