8/10 Very good

We were moved from Riverside Log Cabins to the 3Bears Cabin about 2 miles away. The 3Bears Cabin was an upgrade from my original booking at no additional charge, because construction was being done on the cabin I originally booked. The cabin was clean and close to town. We had everything we needed including a full-size washer and dryer. We were very comfortable and the location was excellent. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to do. The check-in, check-out experience was excellent, no issues whatsoever. The only poor thing that we experienced was poor and spotty Internet and Wi-Fi service, but I guess that is to be expected in a mountainous region. Overall, it was very good, and we would rent from this organization again.

One night stay

We needed a place for a one night stay with 2 days notice near the mountains. The cabin was clean and cozy with a mini fridge, small stove, microwave, and sink, and enough dishes to make a couple of simple meals, and a Keurig for our morning coffee (for survival). The window unit and separate heater kept us warm and the bed was comfortable. My kids slept on the pull out couch bed comfortably and our little one's pack n play fit in the corner of our room. There is a fire pit and nice set of chairs and swing down by the river, horse shoe pits, basketball net, and a paved path parallel to the river that our kids truly enjoyed riding their scooters on while we were there. There are also televisions with enough channels to entertain those waiting for their next meal. It's not an enormous place, but it's certainly a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for a wonderful memory with my family. Truly a blessing to have had that experience with them.

Charming Cabin

This was a perfect choice to stay here. The staff was very friendly and accomodating to our late checkout request. The cabin was very clean and just the right amount of space needed for our stay. It was really cool to be able to enjoy all of the Mystery Hill attractions right on site. We would absolutely stay here again.

The cure for cabin fever

My family and I were visiting Appalachian State University and our little cabin was the perfect HQ for our adventures! We will have to come back and allow more time for all the fun at Mystery Hill. So well maintained and comfy :-)

Check-in & check-out was super quick and easy. Place was clean and really cute on the inside. This is located close to several stores, restaurants, downtown, hiking & canoeing opportunities, and the Mystery Hill attraction. I could see where this would be very appealing to families. My husband and I visited during the MLKJ holiday and were primarily coming for the ample hiking trails in the area. The cabin only has one bed and a pull out couch, but there is room for a blow up mattress. Great for small families!

2/10 Poor

Realized at the end of our stay what the strange smell was. There is black mold growing behind the toilet . VERY UNSATISFYED with this. I took photos and will be requesting a refund!!! The chairs were broken..the hot tib was cold upon arrival ... will NOT be staying there again

6/10 Good

Nice place, good location, didn't love the bed.

We stayed for one night. The place was clean. We arrived late, but they called to let us the know the key would be in the drop-box. We enjoyed the fire pit, their was wood and fire starting supplies which was nice. Wifi worked fine from my cabin. There was a keurig and regular coffee machine. Our cabin didn't have a hot tub, but I think our neighbors did as I heard them out their at 2:30 in the morning. We could hear the train from tweetsie down the road which was fun. Location was good to the places we wanted to see. The bed was not very comfortable for my wife and the kids in the sleeper sofa. Overall decent stay for one night. It was cheaper than other places in the area and worked.

4/10 Fair

Cabin is cute and was clean, and had everything you would need for your stay. This would have been a wonderful experience however the sofa and bed were broke down and uncomfortable. ( the bed was torture. ) Probably be OK if you're under 20, but if you're over 50 your aching body and complete lack of sleep from the torture rack will ruin it for you. And the staff/owner couldn't have cared less as she hustled off to the bank with another $200 for a single nights stay.

8/10 Very good

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean & efficient. I only gave it a 4 star because the check in & out was confusing. The lady just handed me a key with no instructions. I had to ask about how to check out & check out time. This was the 1st time I've stayed anywhere that they didn't give you property rules. Luckily we was a late check in & she did call us because I would not have known to get my key from Mystery Hill. Other then that the accommodations were nice We had dogs so loved the long paved trail.
