Amazing Gem!

Lovely quiet hotel close to Nijo Castle (4 blocks) and 20 mins walk from Nishiki Market; great location. Minimal staff and more self service but that makes for an unbeatable price for the quality of room. The room is huge, full size king bed, bathtub and closet. Has a beautiful combination of traditional and modern design touches like Japanese screens and dimmable mood lighting in the headboard. 24/7 locked lobby entrance for extra security too. Would absolutely recommend!

Late check in was very easy through a lock box system. You just have to request this service ahead of time as the front desk staff leaves at 8pm. This was the best hotel we stayed at during the entire trip! The gentleman at the front desk was the kindest and most helpful gentleman. He helped me so much! Everything about the hotel was awesome! Our room was big and super clean! We had everything we needed in the room and there are other amenities outside the room and in the lobby. The location was perfect, away from the business of the main streets but close enough to walk to everything. We loved staying here and wished our other hotels were this nice! I definitely will book here again when I return to Kyoto in the future!

Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. De kamer was keurig, doch stoffig op onderstel van de tafel en op tafel bij waterkoker. Keurig personeel en behulpzaam. Minpuntje: Er is een rokers kamer op de begane grond aanwezig. Deze deur zat vlak bij onze kamer en als iemand daar net gerookt had, hing de geur in de hal voor onze deur. Bij binnenkomst roken we de nicotine geur regelmatig. Zeker niet prettig als astma patiënt. En meeroken voor kind.
