The staff was very friendly and the room was decorated nicely and as clean and fresh. I tested the onsen which was very relaxing. My only pet peeve is that there wasn't enough room on the floor for me to open my suitcase. But it wasn't a big issue. The hotel is located in a central area, and I could walk to the biggest sites in Gion. It was also just a few minutes away from restaurants, cafés and other shops.
