PIECE OF HEAVEN!! My partner and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at this beautiful villa! The host was so kind and welcoming, and also speaks English in case visitors do not speak Italian. The villa itself was built decades ago, so you get the beautiful historic feeling of the villa. But the bathrooms and shower are all updated and modernized. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! The villa is situated right in front of Lake Como, so you get the best view of the lake! Our room came with a balcony where we sat and enjoyed the lake view. The property was so well kept and organized! We did have to share a shower with another guest, but honestly it was not inconvenient at all as we barely saw the other guest. The area itself is quiet and family friendly. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!

La Villa Albanico est une jolie maison familiale, on s’y sent comme chez soi. Fabio est au petit soin avec les vacanciers. Le petit déjeuner est complet. L’ensemble de la maison est très propre, avec vue imprenable sur le lac. L’accès ne se fait qu’à pied mais ça vaut le détour. Seuls petits bémols : la salle de bain était partagée avec les autres vacanciers mais nous ne nous sommes absolument pas gêné les uns les autres, aussi il n’est pas toujours évident de trouver à se garer. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Stunning views ..loved the size of the apartment ..lovely helpful owners. Great breakfast. What would have made it better? Parking was a long way away ..too many steps ..exhausting. Kitchen needs a kettle and mugs (but they did loan us mugs) Shared bathroom with one other guest was ok but not ideal. Decor and kitchen dated but was all ok.

A warm welcome

The villa is old authentic Italian style, the welcome is warm, the breakfast on the patio is tasty and plentiful! Fabio is an amazing host, nothing was too much trouble, from dealing with dietary requirements to dispensing local knowledge. I went in holiday with my husband and another couple, all of us fell in love with the villa and the region and can't wait to return as soon as we can.
