A real gem. Our room was spoftless with a wonderful old world feed not over modernised or lacking in character but comfortable. The staff were courteous and we were met in the morning after a great nights sleep in a comfy bed by a delicious cooked breakfast with toast and orange juice all for 12.50 each. All together a wonderful experience, thankyou,we will be back!!

Was a fabulous place to stay - from the moment we walked in it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. We were staying after running a marathon and it was ideal for relaxing with drinks in front of the fire. Good pub food too

Nice if a little tired.

Room 6 is above the kitchen and you can hear the staff going about their work. It's an old building so I understand the sound proofing isn't going to be to modern standards, just be aware.
