During the wintertime, many shops, restaurants, and tours are closed on week days. However, we still enjoyed nice walks and the relaxing atmosphere.

Be ready for steep hill climbing throughout the city. It's what makes the views so beautiful!

The Lake Como region was spectacular. Bellagio was a bit crowded. Quick taxi service was scarce. The terrain is hilly. But, Bellagio was beautiful. Getting to different locations along the lake from Bellagio was easy, either by ferry, water taxi, etc

Bellagio is an extremely popular place and as such it gets very crowded.
"Our hostess was incredible! The day of our arrival, we took the wrong bus on a hot day and she greeted us at our room with a carafe of chilled water! She made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, and the breakfast was exceptional. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation in Bellagio."
"Overall, I rate an excellent. The only drawback was the room was a bit dated. And stairs to climb with luggage. The Staff was friendly and cordial. There is shuttle service to Bellagio. Nice restaurant menu options and a very good breakfast in the mornings."
"This place is AMAZING!!!!!! The hotel has everything you need and want! It's the best location. It has a lakefront pool and private beach (with lounge chairs and service) with the most incredible view ever! The setting is truly a dream! The interior is ornate and luxurious. The staff are 5-star! I love the nightly music in the parlor. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. THIS IS A MUST HOTEL!"
"First class hotel with excellent service from start to finish. Incredible view from the room’s balcony. Food and drink options in hotel were excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner with many other restaurants in Bellagio a 5-7m walk away. The pool, outside jacuzzi, and the spa were all superb. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bellagio and would absolutely visit again."
"Beautiful condo/apartment, right off the water near pier 2 for the ferry. Slept 4 people comfortably and was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, as well as the ferry which was a short trip to Varenna, Tremezzo, San Giovanni, etc. I choose this specifically because I was traveling with a type 1 diabetic and it had afforded all the conveniences that were needed, including small fridge, electric stove, dishes etc, and a small market nearby. Hosts were very accommodating and communicative and made our trip easy and fantastic!"
