I've stayed for more than a week (staggered days). The hotel always do not provide enough toilet paper. There is always one half roll toilet paper which is not enough. The telephone in our room was not working that we had to go downstairs to ask for a bellboy but it took the bellboy awhile to come up. So we had to wheel our suitcases downstairs. There is always issue with blocked bathroom sink plus connections of the shower needs fixing.

This is our favorite hotel to stay for many years now.Its because of convenience. And The breakfast buffet is also great. The staff is friendly as well. Overall the hotel is one of the best in Tacloban in terms of convenience. It is walking distance to Robinsons mall and they have parking space. This recent stay were a little disappointed on cleanliness as there was a pimple puss splattered on the mirror, housekeeping must have missed it . The door handle was broken you had to push it to get it attached. The toilet paper holder was flimsy as you pull the roll. Otherwise, it’s highly recommended.

Another comfortable stay!

Friendly check in. I was traveling from another province with my pet dog and my intention was to return home the same day. Unanticipated circumstance caused me to stay in Tacloban overnight and i was uncertain where i would find a pet friendly hotel. My previous experiences staying at Summit encouraged me to begin my search there, thinking they could direct me to appropriate lodgings. I was pleased and surprised to learn that the Summit has accommodations for guests with pets. There is an additional fee for potential cleaning expenses and a substantial but fully refundable cash deposit of 5000p. Every aspect of my stay was as exceptional as I preciously experienced.

Cockroach infestation in first room and awful smell like raw sewage in second room. We travelled with a large group and we were all on different floors so we could not visit each others rooms. Sort of a hassle. Breakfast was great.

This hotel at best is 3 stars. Rooms are dated. Dirty. Carpets throughout needs replacing. Had to change my first room due to the stench emanating from the toilet hose drain. Furniture with obvious stains along with the walls. Lamp shade was grotesque with what appears to be mold. Tried to move past the stench but couldn’t. Returned to front desk and received another room. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Neil (manager) informed me upon checkout the engineer and housekeeper were informed. He arranged for a complimentary shuttle to the airport. Stated I would not be charged for the change of room. As if !! The positive is the hotel is adjacent to a nice mall. Had my hair done and a manicure to boot. Staying inside the room for more than sleeping was not in the cards. Not even to watch TV. Just not an overall comfortable place to hang out in the room. Breakfast was OK. Probably cheaper to get in the mall. Return: Very Doubtful

Gute Unterkunft mit einem Malus

Schönes Zimmer, alles zur Zufriedenheit, allerdings gibt es ein Kritikpunkt: Obwohl die Buchung für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind “Frühstück inbegriffen” gebucht wurde, verlangte das Hotel, dass das Kind(8Jahre) für das Frühstück zahlen müsse. Trotz Hinweis auf die Buchung bestand das Hotel darauf und verwies auf Hotels.com… Das sollte zwischen den Vertragsparteien geklärt werden, als langjähriger Kunde war ich etwas enttäuscht…
