This hotel was perfect, comfortable and endearing, in such a lovely area of Switzerland. I loved the shared space, the staff were so friendly, especially to my dog, the restaurant had a fantastic dinner and breakfast was great! The only negative for me is that it is right next to 2 churches whose bells ring very loudly every 15 minutes all through the night! Both nights, I barely slept at all and while I’m not usually a light sleeper, I do really value my sleep so instead of returning home refreshed after what would have otherwise been a truly wonderful weekend away in the stunning countryside in a cozy hotel, I’m ready for a nap! I mention this only for others who are considering this hotel who may be light sleepers as there were no other comments mentioning it…. Bring earplugs or a white noise machine in order to absolutely benefit from this charming hotel and gorgeous landscape. I went for great hikes both Saturday and Sunday, right from the hotel…. Absolutely amazing! Would love to return for skiing!
