All you need to know is Most hotels in Georgia try to scam you and this one does not do that it’s also very safe as well .And its easy to walk to from the city it’s up hill but for 12 dollars a night it’s not inconvenient at all . I highly suggest staying here if you want to save money in Georgia while traveling and if you want to stay somewhere close to the city !!!plus it has great views of the entire city as well with a hotel balcony!

A strange hotel - I would say HOSTEL - in a strange location. Not so far from Avlabari metro station (10 min) but uphills when walking there. Simple, basic room with no extra comfort, yet everything necessary. No soundproof, no daily cleaning. Breakfast surprisingly good compared to other facilities. Friedly staff but sometimes hard to catch.

Didn’t have towels, small refrigerator, broken not working. Our cheese was spoiled no toilet paper no Air Conditioning and the location was very hard to find we hadto get a taxi to follow to find the place. It was hidden somewhere.

A small gem in Alvabari

Amazing view of Mtatsminda and the church. The interior of the hotel is decorated with a certain charm that can’t be found just anywhere you stay. The highlight is definitely the fourth floor seating area which also has a cafe. Great price with close proximity to both the airport and major parts of Tbilisi!

Had a good stay at hotel TATO. The staff were all brilliant and helpful. The location is good for Tbilisi. Right next to the big church, and a 20 min walk from old town area. The breakfast is good, and the views from the terrace and rooftop are excellent. The only issue I had is that my bathtub leaked, and this caused a smell. The light from the hallway also shone through to the room all night, which made it a little harder to sleep

The staff were extremely nice and helpful, the breakfast provided in the morning was always delicious, everything was clean and well maintained and the wifi was very reliable. If i ever come back to tbilisi i would be sure to book the same hotel. The roof has one of the best views of tbilisi. Staff could speak english and russian fluently. Also an easy walk away from both old town and nearby grocery stores.

We arrive to this „hotel” late afternoon. It was the worst surprise I have experienced in the last 50 years of traveling the world. We looked at the proposed rooms and didn't even bring suitcases to them. The proposed rooms had no windows, they smelled of dirt. The photos on this "hotel" website do not reflect reality. The owner in a dirty T-shirt and rolled-up pants was surprised of our reaction. I believe that the offer of this pseudo hotel should never be placed on hotels.com this offer is a scam. Don't be fooled. We immediately decided to change the hotel. Despite the paid hotel day, we recovered all the money paid back thanks to a complaint on hotels.com

Okay stay a bit away from the noises

Ok place. I guess it's new. They are trying to get everything to look good and function but it still needs some work. I was surprised though they asked me to leave a 10/10 review. That's not ok. Also they were confused and not sure if some of the visitors paid or not. But all in all good stay. Not too close to everything but still fine.

Reality v Pictures

My room looked nothing like the pictures. I was told by one member of staff I could check out at 2pm and then someone knocked on my door and told me that I had to be out by midday. Maybe just confusion but, it wasn’t what I needed at the time. After that the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a shame that it was not as I had expected from the pictures.
