The rosemary suite was ideal for 2 couples. Really spacious with super king beds and both en suite. Shower had great water pressure too! All the staff were absolutely lovely, and couldnt be more helpful when i was struggling with bags and a baby!

Beautiful, spacious and clean accommodation. All staff were very friendly from check-in, waiting staff, housekeeping staff, to grounds maintenance. Even the chef took the time to speak to us after breakfast. The outside area is perfect for young families - there’s a great, enclosed play park and lovely green spaces (with tractors to play on!) for young children to run about. Both the Sunday roast and breakfast were delicious. A brilliant location for exploring a beautiful area of the country.

Absolutely gorgeous place with a great dinner and breakfast. MASSIVE room and bath (Oak room highly recommended) but take your own bubble bath! Really, really glad we had dinner and breakfast there because the food and service was insanely good. Check-in and out staff were extremely friendly and helpful too.

Came here for my partners 50th birthday, we had a fantastic stay from start to finish, we stayed in Thyme the room was spacious and beautifully presented and lovely and warm when we walked through the door. The surroundings were stunning, peaceful and tranquil. The pub was lovely for an afternoon drink after unpacking. Our restaurant meal on the night was lovely too also the breakfast on the morning was delicious, compliments to the chef. I would highly recommend this place for a little get away. Perfect.

The room wss excellent with disabled hand raile and a seat in the large level shower. The staff went out of there way to help me from the moment I arrived all in all very good friendly staff thank you leon for your help folding my wheelchair up and helping my brother in law put it in the van. Lovely hotel with amazing country views. Check in and out was very smooth with a lovely lady on reception. The room, just a standard double, was very nice although the floor could have been cleaner. The service in the restaurant was very slow and the food a bit hit or miss, on the first night our meal wasn’t very nice but the next night it was good. In the morning we waited 45 minutes for our cooked breakfast and the selection of cold items was quite poor and no tongs for the bread. It’s a shame that the restaurant is letting down what is otherwise an excellent hotel.

Apartment was gorgeous, great size very clean. Friendly helpful staff lovely place to stay. With being in lower apartment though you can hear every movement from the ones above, very frustrating overnight even hear the toilet flushing and filling back up. There was a wedding on when we were here so apartment 4 was very vocal and loud at 1am in the morning yapping outside there apartment, shouting on Rachel.

Very Clean and lovely room. I know we didn’t pay a fortune for us both to stay BB and it was the Black Horses most basic room and was lovely. Very modern with almost everything we needed. Would stay again but Sunday evening bar meals finish at 6pm so best have your meal just before as no other food at the pub is available until breakfast. Which is fine but we had our meal at 2pm. No room service either so a bit peckish by 7ish. Not even a scone on offer but biscuits in room with tea and coffee. Restaurant open every other evening till 9pm.

We really our stay at this hotel, I can’t find anything to fault them. The accommodations was lovely, it’s like a little village , every room had its own front door and an outside seating area. We had robes as well as very large fluffy towels. We ate in the restaurant on the night the food was wonderful as was the breakfasts, with no chero process products it was just perfect.
