Great location within walking distance to most shops and restaurants. Secure gated parking. Daily house keeping was a treat for a condo style stay. Our host, Cesar, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and booked several excursions for us (and we loved his suggestions). A modern and well kept accommodation. We would definitely stay here again when visiting La Fortuna.

Great little apartment in a gated area located in a residential area just a few minutes' walk from the Main Street with a wide choice of restaurants and shops so very convenient. Communication with host was excellent and check-in was smooth. Bed was comfortable and the bedding/towels were of high quality. Strongly recommend as a good base for exploring the area.

Hands down, you can't beat the location. It's located in a traditional neighborhood just one block off the main strip. Its very safe and an easy walk to everything. The apartments are very modern and clean, and César was very quick to respond when we had questions about activities, transportation, etc.

Great apartment in a great location. Communication from management was great. Good directions as the place could be hard to find. The apartment is clean, but it is Costa Rica so do not leave food out on the counters as the ants are pretty bad.

Perfect Apartment-Style Hideout!

We had a wonderful stay at Apartamentos La Casona. Everything worked perfectly and you can tell it is loved and cared for. The pool is adorable and the perfect temperature. The communication with the owner is stellar! We had many changes to our itinerary because of flight issues and he was extremely accommodating and kind. The best part is there is parking and it's walking distance to downtown. We plan on returning to La Fortuna and will definitely stay here again!

This apartment is relatively new, well-appointed with cookware Etc. The apartment was clean and the manager communicated very well, and very quickly. Anything that we needed was provided. We can recommend this place to other travelers. The manager also made helpful recommendations for Hot Springs.

Would give 5 stars if the kitchen had a microwave and the living room had air conditioning. Also, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful. Otherwise, this was a very clean, spacious, economical, and convenient home base for exploring the attractions around La Fortuna. Everything was great. The only complaint is that due to the proximity to the main road where the bars and restaurants are located, it was a bit noisy at night. But the tradeoff there was that it was very easy to walk around the neighborhood. The property manager was great as well. Was very responsive to texts (thru WhatsApp), and even helped me locate an item at a store that I needed that I wasn't able to find on my own thru internet searches.
