Check in was easy, was also able to have a late check out for $25 extra. Only 3/4 blocks from beach. Was able to accommodate my grandmother, my toddler and myself. Beds were comfy and water pressure for shower was excellent. Pool was very relaxing as well. Will stay here again!

This is a very economical hotel and management is very friendly and accommodating but I would not recommend for families with young children as it seemed to attract a younger party crowd.

We had a great experience staying at the blue wave inn. Parking was a little bit of a struggle as the lot is very tight to get in and out of. We were only allowed one parking pass so the rest of our group had to find parking else where which was inconvenient. Our room was clean and nice. The pool was great although it seemed cloudy the whole time. We would stay here again.

The motel is close to the beach and broadwalk. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. The room could have been cleaner.  We found hair on the side of the tub and on the chairs. Be prepared to clean the bathroom before you use it. I would not use the dingy towels and washcloths, we brought some from home. The drop ceiling had water stains but the decor was not bad. The room had double beds and I didn't see any signs of bed bugs.  There is no separate outdoor spaces.  Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is close to the beach, and are willing to clean and bring some of your own things from home this motel would not be the worst place to stay.

These pictures look nothing like they do in real life. The picture showed a beautiful balcony. Nope. It's a shared walkway to each room. The pictures showed a kitchenette. Nope. It's just a wall. You get a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot...but without cups. Check out is actually at 10:30, not 11. There is also no continental breakfast despite it being advertised on their website and even in the room. But hey, there were pillows and it's a three minute walk from the boardwalk, so there's that.

The room was very clean but extremely old. When the door is tightly shut, there is a 1” gap along the entire length of the door. You can literally see out onto the deck. The slide lock had to be forced in order to lock. We went to the office, and the lady at the desk acted shocked and said someone must have removed the weather strip. I asked for another room. There was only one available, it has the same 1” gap but no second lock. We stayed with the same room and barricaded the door lol we found out in speaking to other guests there rooms have the same gap. Everything is very old.
