This is a marvelous old antebellum mansion. Quite well maintained with an interesting history. We’ve stayed in a few of these old places, and this is the best of them. Lee is a GREAT host, too. If you’re in Natchez, and like these old mansions, this is definitely the place to stay.

Parking is very convenient. Property occupies entire city block, so it’s easy to park directly in front of house, or in front of gate / fence that surrounds. Breakfast is a voucher provided by host, with choice of restaurants that are within short walk from property. Lots of choices with voucher for variety of hot & cold breakfast items. Very good food options to satisfy different dietary and preference needs!

What a beautiful place in this charming city. Had we any idea, we would have stayed longer than just a stopping point on our drive. Our stay was comfortable, clean, every detail attended to. Dinner recommendations on point, as well as our breakfast. I had a hard time leaving our friendly lively chat with fellow lodgers in the cozy common room. Lee and David were just the perfect hosts and their home is exquisitely furnished. What a treasure!

The room was lovely and well-located near Natchez's main areas of attraction. And it was well-stocked with basic necessities. But what truly stands out is the owners and the larger estate they built, with its genuine reconstruction of high-society life of the South during the antebellum period. The home is just beautifully decorated, with care, with items which each have stand-alone historical value and story-telling potential. It was truly a unique, magical place to stay.
