Large spread out resort but felt private on your patio/balcony. Some great restaurants (busy so book ahaead) in Playa Santiago which was easily reached by the elevator 'down the cliff'. A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful grounds, nice rooms, great food and friendly, helpful staff. But if you're disabled or even partly disabled, beware the sloping paths and many outdoor stairs at night. Some are poorly lit or not lit at all.

An old friend needs an update.

My fourth stay. A beautifully landscaped property needs a little work on the rooms. The bed was old and the floors are very slippery when wet (I fell and sprained a knee). The towels were so worn that one tore while I used it. The staff are marvelously helpful, especially Miriam on the front desk.
