The room was absolutely disgusting! There was stains on the sheets, looked nothing like advertisement! The photos were very edited! Staff wasn’t on sight! Walked in and walked out of the place, had to stay somewhere else because of how deceiving it was! Would not ever recommend! I see why they made it non-refundable! What a cash grab!

Pictures on add were not accurate. Fixtures in the bathroom were rusting We messaged the location about items we left behind and never received a reply. I was willing to pay to have items shipped. The scenery was beautiful enjoyed going for a walk in the morning

Staff were terrible. They didn't cooperate in any case. The front desk guy is not helpful and behavior was too bad. If we asked for any service he was telling, "what are you expecting in 150 CAD?" Isn't it a bad way to serve a client?

Worst place in Cape Breton Nova Scotia

We reserved a king deluxe room. Were given 2 double. Only shades that did not cover windows, drywall patch by heater, unsecured cable wire coming from wall. The furniture was old/chipped. Bathroom had mold on tile grout with no tub drain. Wasn’t even a paper cup in the room. When told that the room was unacceptable and not what was reserved, we were given another room with king bed. Room was not at all clean and obviously hadn’t been used recently. There was literally a massive pile of discarded furniture and appliances outside of the room, including a swimming pool used as a dump. We were told that was all that was available and we needed to contact Expedia for a refund. Because of the Celtic Colours festival crowds , we were unable to secure a room at another hotel the first night of our booking. We stayed one night but found other accommodations the second night. The ‘breakfast’ was very minimal with poor quality food. The overall conditions of the property was very poor with piles of dirty linen outside as we pulled into the parking lot. Outside fire pits had unburnt garbage.
